Install the app on an old phone (see "Get the AndrIoT app" above), then tap Add Phone.

The name is what you see in the phone list, in alerts and in recordings. The phone keeps its own name separately.
The phone calls these two URLs itself: the cut URL at 80% charge, the resume URL at 25%. Point them at your smart plug or a webhook that switches the charger. Leave blank to only get alerts.
Revokes the phone's access. It stops streaming and its alerts end. You can pair it again later. The phone itself is not wiped.

The phone reports whether Location is granted and switched on when you refresh.
Control TVs, air conditioners, soundbars, and fans via the phone's consumer infrared emitter (ConsumerIrManager) or smart home IoT hub.
Without permission a screenshot only shows the AndrIoT screen. Tap "Enable full screen" to accept Android's one-time prompt on the phone.
Mirror whatever is on the phone's display. Needs “Enable full screen” above; it stops when the phone restarts.
Select a display mode to broadcast text, banners, graphics, or video streams directly on the phone screen.

Type any announcement to be synthesized and spoken aloud in high-clarity speech on the phone.

Plays a high-frequency tone through the phone speaker. Phone speakers usually roll off above about 18–20 kHz, so the top of this range may be faint or inaudible even though the phone is playing it. Published evidence for ultrasonic repellents is weak.
Never aim this at a pet or a child at close range — a loud high-frequency tone is uncomfortable and is not a training tool.
Listen to the phone's microphone with a live waveform, and press Mic muted to talk back through its speaker. Your microphone stays off until you press it, and turns itself off again when you stop listening.

1 Where should alerts go?
Turn on one or more. Tap a card to set it up. You can send a test message from each one.
- Open @andriot_bot in Telegram and press Start. It replies with your chat ID — nothing to create.
- Paste that number below. That is all AndrIoT needs; alerts arrive from @andriot_bot.
- Prefer your own bot? Create one with @BotFather, paste its token instead, then press Read from my bot.
